Shedeur Sanders, former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback, raised many eyebrows when it was announced that the 23-year-old will be only doing one-on-one interviews in the 2025 NFL Combine. The NFL Scouting Combine will feature top college football players performing various drills, hoping to impress NFL scouts and become a part of league teams.
Shedeur Sanders is currently eyed by a number of NFL teams, including the Cleveland Browns, and several coaches and general managers are hoping to interview the talented player and assess his mental and emotional skills. Even though many NFL coaches are already impressed with Sanders, Daniel Kelly, a former New York Jets scout, had other things to say about him. Interestingly, this is not because of something he did, but what his brother did.
“This is one of the most alarming things I’ve seen Shedeur Sanders do. He got into a verbal confrontation with a ball boy… a ball boy… As a former NFL Scout, I have one question for every NFL Owner, GM, Scouting Director, Scout, Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Player, Fan, and everyone who covers the NFL in the Media: Is this the face of an NFL franchise?” Daniel Kelly tweeted through his X account while sharing a clip of the altercation.

…a ball boy.
The name and age of the ball boy was not made public from my research and only two publications actually published Sanders partially… https://t.co/hg8d3Euqfx

Shedeur Sanders indeed comes from a talented basketball family, with his father being Deion Sanders, who played in the NFL for several teams including the Atlanta Falcons, the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens. Along with Shedeur Sanders, his brothers, Shilo Sanders, and Deion Sanders Jr. have also been raised to be football prodigies, just like his father.

Shedeur Sanders Might Be Passed By NFL Teams For His Bling
Shedeur Sanders might not make it to the NFL according to Brandon Marshall, who is a former wide receiver in the league. According to Marshall, Sanders wears too much jewelry, and this may not be liked by many NFL teams. In addition to this, NFL scouts may also not like his singing career.

Sanders truly has been slowly building a repertoire in music, releasing his first single called ‘Perfect Timing’ last year. and most recently dropping a music video for another single called ‘Life’. Plus, Sanders is almost always seen with flashy jewelry, especially his huge ‘Legendary’ diamond-studded pendant.

However, Sanders is not just all about flash on his person, and has the numbers to prove his performance on the field. In his most recent season with the Colorado Buffaloes, the quarterback managed to throw for a total of 4,134 yards, scoring 37 touchdowns, with ten interceptions in total.
