Shedeur Sanders, Cleveland Browns’ rookie quarterback, did not play much in the third preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams, and fans were clearly not happy. Sanders started playing only in the second half but was pulled out of the game by head coach Kevin Stefanski before he could make his mark.
Instead of Sanders, the Browns had Tyler Huntley leading their offense towards the end. Shedeur Sanders completed three passes out of six attempts, while his counterpart, Dillon Gabriel, chalked up a solo touchdown for the team with 12 pass completions out of 19 attempts. Browns’ starting quarterback also made an impression in the game with nine pass completions out of ten attempts, scoring once for the team.

“Obviously, I don’t concern myself with outside type of things. I’m committed to his development, just like all of our rookies, so we’ll continue to focus on getting our guys better. And that’s what we’ll stay committed to, and that’s what’s important to me.” Cleveland Browns head coach, Kevin Stefanski said as reported by Mary Kay Cabot, after being accused of trying to sabotage Shedeur Sanders’ career.
It is still not understood as to why Shedeur Sanders was pulled out so early, with many speculating that his oblique injury hadn’t fully healed. Sanders did stun in the first preseason game against the Carolina Panthers, and fans were eager to see the rookie stun once more before the regular season could kick off.
Shedeur Sanders Being Pulled Out Of Rams Game Frustrates Skip Bayless
Shedeur Sanders being pulled out of the third preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams has many calling out head coach, Kevin Stefanski. One of the loudest voices was that of renowned sportscaster, Skip Bayless.

“This young man can play quarterback at the highest level in this league. He is capable of being a franchise quarterback and taking a team to the promised land. But he’s got the whole package. He’s got enough size; he’s not huge, but his arm is Brady-esque. It’s at least as strong as Brady’s. He can run… But the main things he has are poise and command, and leadership.” Skip Bayless spoke about Shedeur Sanders.
Skip Bayless added that Shedeur Sanders might not find the Cleveland Browns fertile to prove his potential and suggested that the rookie quarterback goes elsewhere. The Browns have five quarterbacks right now, including Shedeur Sanders, and the team is expected to release at least one QB soon.
