Sean McVay talks about Matthew Stafford’s health
The Los Angeles Rams couldn’t defend their Super Bowl last season. Much of their inconsistency on offense early last season had to do with quarterback Matthew Stafford dealing with injuries. Stafford was placed on injured reserve in early December. Head coach Sean McVay recently made a strong statement on Stafford’s health at this point in the offseason.
McVay was a guest on Sirius NFL Radio. McVay said Stafford is feeling much better than he has in recent offseasons:
“I think this is the first offseason in a long time that [Stafford] actually feeling good. He’s been able to throw. He’s been able to kind of start his rhythm and routine a little bit earlier than previous years. He’s got a good look in his eye, and I’m glad he’s leading the way for us.”

The Rams will hope Stafford can stay healthy this season. His play is critical to the Rams’ chances of making the postseason next year. If Stafford is feeling as good as he did when he was in his prime, the Rams could be dangerous.
