On the Thursday Night Football matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the New York Giants, a massive brawl occurred in the stands. It consisted of only 49ers fans who had a little too much to drink. Men were hitting women, and the entire scene was just ugly and not a good look for the National Football League. WARNING: May be too graphic for some people!
Another game, another fight…
Seems like fighting at the football games is starting to become a real issue.

Battle of Maryland
These fights at NFL games have always been an issue but seem to be a lot more common recently. Another fight occurred in week one, in the matchup between the Washington Commanders and the Arizona Cardinals. A Ravens fan, out of all people, was attending the game and started a fight with Commanders fans, probably saying the Ravens are the better team in the state of Maryland. It did not end well for him, though, as he was beaten down harshly. WARNING: Graphic content!

Fight in Gillette
Yet ANOTHER fight occurred in the week two Sunday Night Football matchup between the Miami Dolphins and the New England Patriots. This time, a few women were involved, trading blows to the head and having no regard for human life.
There were more fights between #NFL fans this weekend than combined wins between the Bengals, Chargers and Vikings.

San Francisco 49ers Fight Affect
The fight in San Francisco specifically has Twitter buzzing as fans are starting to realize how much these fights occur. We always see fights break out between the players on the field, and there was a lot yesterday between 49ers and Giants players. However, awareness should be spread to make fans aware of fights in the stands happening at any moment and to report if they think a situation is escalating as soon as possible.
This has been a huge problem in all of sports, but seems to be more prominent in the NFL in just the first three weeks. The league needs to do something about this; maybe some extra security would help de-escalate these types of situations. Or, limit the number of alcoholic drinks people can buy because, obviously, some people cannot handle their liquor.
