The San Francisco 49ers’ offensive line did a decent job protecting Brock Purdy in 2023, allowing the 7th-fewest hurries, the 13th-fewest hits, the 5th-fewest pressures, the 14th-lowest pressure percentage, and the 7th-fewest sacks.
San Francisco addressed the offensive line by re-signing their right tackle to a contract extension.

This extension shouldn’t affect San Francisco’s offseason plans
Re-signing McKivitz should not affect San Francisco’s offseason plans because he signed a team-friendly deal. San Francisco will likely sign an offensive lineman in free agency or through the draft and compete with McKivitz for a starting job next season.
