College football fans showed Ohio State head coach Ryan Day no mercy after losing to Michigan for the third straight season. The Buckeyes are all but out of the playoff picture after the loss to Michigan.
Michigan defeated Day and Ohio State without head coach Jim Harbaugh. Harbaugh was serving the last game of his three-game ban from the Michigan sideline by the Big Ten. Harbaugh’s ban was due to the sign-stealing scandal that has rocked Michigan’s program this season.
Day needed to earn a victory Saturday against Michigan for credibility. Instead, Day lost to Michigan, who didn’t have pre-scouted-stolen signs to their advantage. More importantly, Day lost to a team that didn’t have its head coach on the sideline.
