Roman Wilson, wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is expected to be one of their star performers in the upcoming NFL season, according to the team’s insider, Mark Kaboly. According to a post shared by ‘SteelerNation’ on X, Kaboly predicts Wilson to be a terrific performer for the Steelers in the 2025 NFL season, especially with the team having struggled in the WR area in the previous year.

The Steelers already have a powerful wide receiver in DK Metcalf, whom they brought in from the Seattle Seahawks. Plus, they also have a void left by George Pickens’ trade to the Dallas Cowboys, which Wilson might superbly fill.

“I would like to see how the Roman Wilsons and Calvin Austins are, if you see a noticeable step forward. I think Roman Wilson is gonna look fabulous. You might hear that coming out the first two weeks. ‘Oh, Roman Wilson looks like a different guy.’ Now, he actually looked like that last year, but he just wasn’t able to actually get on the field. I think Roman Wilson will look fabulous out there.” Mark Kaboly says in a post shared by ‘SteelerNation’ on X.

Roman Wilson has been playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers since the previous NFL season after being selected by the team as the 84th pick in the third round of the draft. Before being drafted by the Steelers, Wilson played college football for the Michigan Wolverines.

Roman Wilson And Steelers To Face Jets In Season Opener

Meanwhile, Roman Wilson and the rest of the Pittsburgh Steelers will be getting ready to face the New York Jets in the opening game of their 2025 NFL season. Before locking horns with the Jets, the Steelers will be warming up with three preseason games, against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Pittsburgh Panthers. In their last matchup against the New York Jets, the Pittsburgh Steelers won beautifully with a final score of 37-15.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be definitely eager to improve their record in the forthcoming NFL season when compared to their previous year. The Steelers finished the 2024 NFL season second in the AFC North table after winning ten games and losing seven.

Pittsburgh managed to make it to the NFL Wild Card Round to meet the Baltimore Ravens, but lost miserably 28-14. After their impressive offseason moves and hopefully Aaron Rodgers’ arrival, the Pittsburgh Steelers will be chalking up a higher notch in the forthcoming season.
