The Pittsburgh Steelers are fighting for their playoff lives in Week 18 against the Baltimore Ravens. To have a chance at making the playoffs, they have to win this game. However, the chances of that happening took a major hit thanks to a devastating injury to Steelers LB T.J. Watt.

    T.J. Watt Enters Medical Tent

Late in the third quarter, Watt collapsed on the football field and appeared to be limping. After Watt, collapsed, he entered the medical tent. Once Watt was examined in the medical tent, he limped towards the locker room.

He has not returned to the football field since that hit. Later on, Watt was ruled out for the rest of the game due to a knee injury. Watt had two sacks and six tackles in today’s game.

    Pittsburgh Steelers Moving Forward

As mentioned above, the Steelers are fighting for their playoff lives. Watt left in the middle of a tight game. The score was 7-7 late in the third quarter. With points coming at a premium, the Steelers may have to prepare to try to win this game without their star linebacker.

They started to do so with a 71-yard touchdown pass to WR Diontae Johnson early in the fourth quarter to take a 14-7 lead. If Pittsburgh can find a way to win this game, they have a very realistic chance of making the playoffs.
