The Penn State Nittany Lions are the third-ranked team in the country entering the October 26 matchup on the road against the Wisconsin Badgers. Penn State is 6-0 this season and Wisconsin is 5-2 this season. This is a potential trap game for the Nittany Lions.
After this matchup, the Penn State Nittany Lions will host the Ohio State Buckeyes the following week on November 2. It could be the biggest game of the college football season to date for Penn State.
Start Time For the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Ohio State Buckeyes Announced
On Monday, it was announced that the start time for the Nittany Lions and the Buckeyes will be at NOON ET on November 2 in Happy Valley. The game will be televised on FOX. This game starts early in the afternoon and instead of it being a primetime matchup, this comes as a major surprise.
There is no doubt that many people thought this was going to be a night game rather than a day game. This game could potentially decide a spot in the BIG10 Championship Game.
Fans Livid
Nittany Lions fans are livid that this game is at NOON rather than at night. Here is what some of them had to say about it on Twitter:
Get rid of Big Noon

Why? Best game of the day right now and a noon game? Pathetic!
— Gusher (@Gusher405) October 21, 2024
The most obvious night game ever ruined because of FOX clowns 🤡

There is no reason this game should not be at 7:30. Big Noon Kickoff is killing the Big 10
— Fieldsburgh2 (@Fieldsburghhhh) October 21, 2024
Noon favors Ohio State over white outs just saying

The Ohio State Buckeyes are no strangers to playing NOON ET games. They will be hosting the Nebraska Cornhuskers at that time at home this weekend. Ohio State also played at the same time earlier this season against different opponents.
They will also face the Michigan Wolverines in the NOON ET slot on November 30. Also, the Penn State Nittany Lions fanbase will just have to deal with this start time, but other college football fans will also question why this is an early start time also.
