The Philadelphia Eagles turned heads last week when they signed former New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley in free agency. They added another skilled player from the 2023 Giants’ offense.
Saquon Barkley was a big addition last week
The Eagles are filling out their offensive roster to better suit quarterback Jalen Hurts skillset next season. Adding Barkley will help the backfield and put pressure on a defense that has to worry about defending wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVante Smith.
The Philadelphia Eagles signed a former Giants WR
According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, another wide receiver will join that dynamic. The Eagles have added former Giants wide receiver Parris Campbell on a one-year deal for the 2024 season.

Parris Campbell is a former second-round pick
Campbell finished the 2023 season with 20 receptions for 104 yards. His best season was in 2022 when he caught 63 passes for 623 yards and three touchdowns with the Indianapolis Colts.
The Colts selected Campbell in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. In his five-year career, the 26-year-old has 117 receptions for 1,087 yards and five touchdowns.
