As the Green Bay Packers prepare for their Week 14 matchup against the New York Giants on Monday Night Football, there is a new buzz surrounding the franchise. After knocking off the Kansas City Chiefs in a huge upset win last week, the playoffs are a very real possibility for this young team. All they need to do is finish the season strong and take care of business against teams that they should beat.
Jordan Love has completely flipped the script for the Packers this season. After starting slow and calls for him to be benched began, he has turned his year around and is now proving that he should be the long-term franchise quarterback and actually is the heir apparent to Aaron Rodgers that Green Bay thought he was.
Behind the play of Love and a resurgence within the team as a whole, the Packers are becoming a very tough team to beat.
Packers’ Jordan Love Sends Bold Message To NFL Before Week 14
Amid the hot streak that he has been having, Love took to his Instagram account to share a very bold message to the rest of the NFL. In a post, Love wrote the caption, “”I got my foot on they neck and my foot on the gas.”

To say that Love is feeling confident and dangerous would be an understatement. This kind of attitude is exactly what the Packers want to see from their young quarterback.
Throughout the first 12 games in his first year as the full-time starter, Love has completed 61.3 percent of his pass attempts for 2,866 yards, 22 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He has also picked up 231 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
With the season moving forward quickly, it’s easy to forget that this is Love’s first year as a starter. He sat behind Aaron Rodgers for the first three years of his career. However, sitting behind Rodgers clearly worked out for Love, as he has shown major flashes of things that he has picked up from the superstar quarterback.
Looking ahead to the matchup with the Giants, the Packers should easily win the game. It is the definition of a “trap game” for a team with playoff hopes, so Green Bay must be careful and come in prepared. The last thing they can afford to do is put up a dud like the Pittsburgh Steelers did last week against the Arizona Cardinals.
Make sure to tune in to see if Love can lead the Packers to their fourth straight win at 8:15 p.m. EST on ESPN’s Monday Night Football.
