The Oregon Ducks finished the regular season with an 11-1 record. They lost to the Washington Huskies in their last Pac-12 Championship game and defeated the Liberty Flames in the Fiesta Bowl.
Oregon had one of the best defenses in the league. They allowed the 54th-fewest passing yards per game with 215.9, the 22nd-fewest yards per game with 318.4, and the 19th-fewest points per game with 16.5.
They lost their best cornerback, Khyree Jackson, to the draft but found his replacement in the transfer portal.

He started his collegiate career at Oklahoma State
Jabbar Muhammad committed to Oklahoma State as a three-star recruit for the 2020 season. Muhammad played five games during his freshman season and had one tackle.
Muhammad appeared in 14 games during his sophomore season. He registered 23 tackles, 0.5 for a loss, 0.5 sacks, and three pass deflections.
Muhammad appeared in 12 games during his junior season. He registered 48 tackles, 0.5 for a loss, one interception, nine pass deflections, and one forced fumble. He earned honorable mention All-Big 12 and College Football Network’s All-Big 12 second team.
He entered the transfer portal after the conclusion of the 2022 season.
He transferred to Washington in 2023
Muhammad transferred to Washington for the 2023 season. He appeared in every game, registering 46 tackles, five for a loss, two sacks, three interceptions, and 16 pass deflections. He was named second-team All-Pac 12.

He isn’t the only defensive back to transfer to Oregon
Three defensive backs transferred to Oregon. They include nickel Brandon Johnson from Duke, safety Kobe Savage from Kansas State, and cornerback Kameryn Alexander from UTSA.
Johnson registered 56 tackles, 8.5 for a loss, two sacks, and four pass deflections. Savage registered 57 tackles, 3.5 for a loss, and three interceptions. Alexander registered 34 tackles, two for a loss, one sack, two interceptions, and 15 pass deflections.
