Ole Miss Rebels: NCAA 25 Player Rankings Revealed

The Ole Miss Rebels are projected to be one of the Top 10 teams in college football before the start of the 2024 season. A season ago, Ole Miss finished with an 11-2 record and will have high expectations entering the 2024 season.

With the expanded playoff field this season, some people believe that the  Ole Miss Rebels will be one of the 12 teams that will make it this season. The Ole Miss Rebels have a lot of talent on both sides of the football this season under head coach Lane Kiffin.

No one will expect the Rebels to do well this season in the SEC. Everyone is placing expectations on the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Texas Longhorns, and the Georgia Bulldogs. Also, the NCAA 25 video game was just released and many people are already posting on social media that they are playing the game.

Nick Schultz of on3.com posted the entire roster of the Ole Miss Rebels player’s ranking on the NCAA 25 video game. Seven of the top 10 players on the roster are offensive players. The highest ranking went to defensive tackle Walter Nolan, who was given a 93 overall.

Nolan was with the Texas A&M Aggies for the last two seasons. Walter Nolan last season with Texas A & M recorded 37 tackles, four sacks, and one pass deflection. Interestingly, he received the highest ranking on the Ole Miss Rebels roster. However, he will be a huge help to this defense this season.

What is very interesting about the rankings is wide receiver Tre Harris received a 93 ranking, Juice Wells an 88 ranking, and Jordan Watkins an 86 ranking. It is one of the best wide receiver cores in the country for quarterback Jaxson Dart to throw to, who also received a 90 ranking on the NCAA game.

Dart is a potential dark horse candidate for the Heisman Trophy this season. He completed 65.1% of his passes for 3,364 yards, 23 touchdowns, and five interceptions. Jaxson Dart also rushed for 391 yards on 119 carries and eight touchdowns, along with averaging 3.3 yards per carry.

Not only does Jaxson Dart have a great receiving core, but he has a solid tight end. Cade Prieskorn has an 89 ranking on NCAA and running back Ulysses Bentley IV has an 84 ranking and Henry Parrish Jr. has an 83 ranking.

The skill players on the offensive side of the football for the Ole Miss Rebels are really good. They have two effective running backs, a star quarterback, three stud wide receivers, and a very good tight end. Ole Miss could have one of the best offenses in the country and it would not be a surprise to see them average over 400 yards per game and also over 35 points per game.

As long as the defense is just average, they will be fine. The other two players on the roster who are ranked in the Top 10 for NCAA are defensive end Princely Umanmielen at 89 and cornerback Trey Amos with an 85 ranking.
