That is some horrible news that no Buckeye fan wants to hear right before the spring game, but the good news is the season doesn’t start for another five months, so he should have a reasonable amount of time to recover.
Inniss Is Supposed To Be A Star
According to 247sports.com, Inniss was a four-star coming out of high school and was ranked as the fifth-best wide receiver in the country in the 2023 class.
The Buckeyes Will Have A New Wide Receiver Room In 2024
Ohio State needs Inniss to be healthy at the start of the season because he will be one of the team’s leading receivers in 2024. The Buckeyes saw the best wide receiver in college football, Marvin Harrison Jr., enter the NFL draft this season, so some spots will be up for grabs in that room.
Ohio State saw senior wide receiver Emeka Egbuka return, which was a significant surprise. Now, he will be the leader of the receiver room. Still, there are a lot of jobs up for grabs between the young guys, Carnell Tate, Brandon Inniss, and Jeremiah Smith.
