    With the early release of EA Sports College Football 25 in just six days, EA is putting out their final information pre-launch. Today, EA Sports released the top 100 rated players in the video game. This is the last bit of information fans have been waiting the see, and with the beginning of the regular season still over a month away, will generate a lot of conversation. The team with the most players in the top 100 is the Ohio State Buckeyes with eight. In fact, all eight Ohio State players are in the top 54.

    Free Safety Caleb Downs: 95 Overall

    Former SEC freshman of the year Caleb Downs transferred from Alabama to Ohio State and is the highest-rated player for the Buckeyes in EA Sports College Football 25. Downs is the 5th-ranked player in the video game at a 95 overall.

    Caleb Downs led the Crimson Tide with 107 tackles in 2023. Downs will be a fun player for users to control on defense and fly around the field making tackles sideline to sideline.

    Running Back Quinshon Judkins: 95 Overall

    After being one of the best running backs in the SEC over the last two seasons, Quinshon Jenkins transferred from Ole Miss to Ohio State. Judkins is the second highest-rated running back in EA Sports College Football 25.

    Quinshon Judkins has compiled 2,725 rushing yards and 31 rushing touchdowns throughout his collegiate career. Judkins will be one of the most used players in the new video game, giving users a versatile rusher.

    Wide Receiver Emeka Egbuka: 93 Overall

    After deciding not to enter the 2024 NFL draft, star slot receiver Emeka Egbuka returns to Ohio State for his final season in the Scarlet and Gray. Egbuka has had a solid career for the Buckeyes but will look to have a bounce-back season after his production dipped in 2023.

    Throughout his collegiate career, Emeka Egbuka has displayed precise route running and has thrived in the slot. Egbuka will be a reliable pass-catcher for users and used heavily through crossing routes and the RPO game.

    Running Back TreVeyon Henderson: 93 Overall

    Senior running back TreVeyonon Henderson is the 23rd-ranked player in EA Sports College Football 25 coming in at a 93 overall.

    TreVeyon Henderson is one of the most explosive running backs in the country and his ratings reflect that. Henderson has a blazing 94-speed rating that will be hard for users to defend.

    Left Defensive End Jack Sawyer: 92 Overall

    Sophomore Jack Sawyer looks to have a breakout season.

    The second highest-rated defensive player for the Ohio State Buckeyes is defensive end Jack Sawyer. He is the 29th-ranked player in the video game and comes in at 93 overall.

    Sawyer was the number one ranked player in the 2021 recruiting cycle and will look to have a breakout year in likely his final season with the Buckeyes. Ohio State has the best defense in the video game and Sawyer will be an important piece for that defense.

    Left Guard Donovan Jackson: 91 Overall

    At a 91 overall, left guard Donovan Jackson is the highest-rated offensive lineman for the Ohio State Buckeyes in EA Sports College Football 25. Jackson is the 46th-ranked player in the video game.

    Donovan Jackson will be an important player for users who want to use the highly rated Ohio State running backs as he will set the tone for the offense line.

    Corner Back Denzel Burke: 91 Overall

    Deciding to forgo the 2024 NFL draft, Denzel Burke returned for his senior season at Ohio State. Denzel Burke is the 51st-ranked player in the video game at 91 overall.

    Complex route combinations in spread offenses will be popular in EA Sports College Football 25, and having a solid cornerback like Denzel Burke will be important for users to have on their team.

    Defensive Tackle Tyleik Williams: 91 Overall

    Rounding out the eight players in the top 100 for the Ohio State Buckeyes is defensive tackle Tyleik Williams who is a 91 overall.

    Tyleik Williams will be a game wrecker for users and control the line of scrimmage.
