On Saturday, the Philadelphia Eagles announced a flurry of transactions with a day to go before Super Bowl LIX.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Eagles injury reports have been receiving plenty of attention this week before Sunday’s matchup at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. The Eagles and Chiefs have added more players to their lists this week because of illness.
The flu is reportedly working its way around the locker room for the Eagles and Chiefs. Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter appears ready to go for Sunday. The Chiefs placed punter Matt Araiza on their report. A Kansas City defensive tackle left Friday’s practice early, suggesting more players could become ill before the 6:30 p.m. EST kickoff.
The Philadelphia Eagles make a few roster moves

On Saturday, the Eagles made a few final roster moves before the Super Bowl. Per the Eagles, the team activated All-Pro defensive end Brandon Graham from injured reserve. Offensive lineman Nick Gates is headed to IR.
“We have activated DE Brandon Graham from Injured Reserve, elevated FB Khari Blasingame and LB Nicholas Morrow for the game, and have placed OL Nick Gates on Injured Reserve,” the Eagles posted on X.

Graham has been out of the lineup since he tore his triceps in November. Graham recorded 20 tackles and 3.5 sacks in the regular season.
It could be the 36-year-old defender’s final game in the NFL.
