The Detroit Lions agree to bring back the veteran offensive line.
A source says the Lions have agreed to terms with G Graham Glasgow to remain in Detroit. It’s a three-year, $20 million deal with $9.5 million in guarantees.

Graham Glasgow, 31, is a midwestern who decided to keep his roots planted in the Detroit area. The former Michigan Wolverine will continue to play for the Detroit Lions for at least the next three years after a contract was agreed in principle early Monday.
Glasgow’s History with the Detroit Lions
Graham Glasgow was drafted in the third round out of Michigan. He was the 95th selection overall by the Detroit Lions. Halfway through Glasgow’s rookie season, he became the full-time starter and held onto that position for the next four years in Detroit.
Glasgow entered free agency in 2020 and signed with the Denver Broncos. After battling some injuries, he started most of the Broncos’ games in 2023. Shortly after the season, he was released.
Graham decided to return to the Detroit Lions in 2023.
Graham’s Decision to Stay
Graham played in all 17 games this past season and started in 15 of them. The signing benefits both sides, especially Glasgow, whose last departure was not so successful. Offensive Guard Jonah Jackson is up for free agency, so at least Detroit holds on to one offensive lineman who had a chance of leaving.
According to Sports Illustrated, “Glasgow revitalized his career with the Lions after struggling late in his stint with the Denver Broncos. He began the year as a backup but quickly ascended into a starting role.
The veteran played multiple roles throughout the season, starting games at both guard and center positions. He’s well-liked in the locker room and desires to remain with the organization. A return would be mutually beneficial.”
Most agree this is the correct move for the Detroit Lions.
Lions had both guards up, and with Jonah Jackson in line for big payday, Lions keep Glasgow, who played well for them. https://t.co/XcqyLlWQhk

Lions are running it back. A majority of their 2023 core is already under contract (and they're not done) https://t.co/8t1cMSZM8d

Good deal for Glasgow, iOL growth in the mid-level as well.
Guessing this means perhaps Jonah Jackson has been priced out of Detroit https://t.co/OYPgs5G8I1
