The NFL season has come to an incredibly ending with the Kansas City Chiefs becoming back to back Super Bowl champions for the first time in decades. The Super Bowl was the most watched game in NFL history apparently, and fans were treated to an incredibly memorable game. However, according to TMZ, there were 6 people that were arrested at the big game for different reasons.

Two men ran shirtless onto the field and although they were rightfully not shown on the broadcast or mentioned really they were still arrested following running onto the field. They were arrested and charged with prohibited events at a sporting event but were later released. Pretty crazy to pay so much to go to the Super Bowl just to get arrested.

There were two other fans that were arrested for obstruction and one was detained for battery against a police officer. And lastly, there was a fan who got arrested for grand larceny. Although 6 people is a lot of arrests, the big game took place in Vegas. There were over 60 thousand fans in attendance, so being that there were only 6 arrests may have been shocking for the authorities.

Authorities thought this was quite a ‘chill’ Super Bowl in terms of fan behavior as Vegas usually brings out the rowdy in people. Many fans were quite intoxicated and for there to only be these few arrests was a win for Allegiant Stadium and all the people involved.

The NFL was very happy with the performance that was put up in Las Vegas both off and on the field. This should definitely bolster the chances of the Super Bowl being in Las Vegas again in the near future. All of those that were arrested have since been released.
