In one of the final injury reports of the season, there’s much on the line. Pittsburgh is fighting for a playoff spot and is in a must win situation against the Ravens, who won’t roll over even with them resting many of their key starters. In the later game, we’ll have the Texans traveling to Indianapolis to take on the Colts. If Jacksonville loses this week, this game could very well decide who wins the AFC South. If Jacksonville does end up winning, the winner of this game will likely get the 7th seed in the AFC. Pay close attention to this week’s injury report and bet accordingly!
Steelers @ Ravens Injury Report
Pittsburgh Steelers
Minkah Fitzpatrick: The Steelers’ star safety looks about ready to come back from the knee injury he sustained weeks ago. He’s currently listed as questionable but with the season on the line, it would be a shock to see him not play. If he doesn’t, Patrick Peterson would likely start at free safety. If Peterson starts, expect worse downfield coverage against Tyler Huntley.
Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson: Coach Harbaugh is officially going to sit Jackson in hopes of preventing injury. Tyler Huntley will look to knock Pittsburgh out of the playoff race. There are weak spots in the Steelers’ defense, especially in tackling and coverage. If Huntley plays within the offense and doesn’t turn the ball over, they could win.
Odell Beckham Jr./Zay Flowers: Due to a coaching decision and a calf injury, Baltimore will rest their top two outside receivers. With Tyler Huntley starting, expect him to target Rashod Bateman, Nelson Agholor and Isaiah Likely.
Kevin Zeitler: Knee and quad injuries will keep one of the best pass-blocking guards in the entire league out this week. Backup Ben Cleveland blocked well when Zeitler exited last week. Against an average interior defensive line from Pittsburgh, Cleveland should keep Huntley relatively well protected.
Marlon Humphrey/Kyle Hamilton: The Ravens will also rest their starting strong safety and best outside corner this week. Starting in their places will be Brandon Stevens and Geno Stone. According to PFF, neither are major downgrades. With how tough the Ravens’ defense has been, don’t expect them to fall off a cliff without Humprey and Hamilton.
Texans @ Colts Injury Report
Houston Texans
Noah Brown/Robert Woods: A back injury will ensure Houston’s No. 2 outside receiver doesn’t play in a must-win game this week. His backup, Robert Woods is questionable due to a hip injury and wasn’t able to participate in practice. Assuming Woods isn’t able to go, the unproven John Metchie III would start in his place. Expect a larger target share for Nico Collins, Dalton Schultz and John Metchie III.
Jonathan Greenard: Houston will be without their best pass rusher due to an ankle injury. Greenard has 12.5 sacks on the year, by far the most on the team. Look for both Derek Barnett and Jerry Hughes to get pass rush snaps opposite Will Anderson Jr. Although they’re quality depth, expect Gardner Minshew II to be kept clean for the most part.
Indianapolis Colts
Ryan Kelly/Quentin Nelson: Ankle injuries have the Colts’ best two interior offensive linemen listed as questionable. Both had limited participation in practice. If backups Welsey French and/or Jack Anderson have to play, expect increased interior pressure from both Sheldon Rankins and Maliek Collins.
