The NFL Draft is upon us and all eyes are on Caleb Williams. A big reason for this is he is projected to be the top overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. As a result, Williams has developed some haters along the way. Well, Robert Griffin III took notice of this and addressed it last night. Read below to find out what he had to say about the subject.
Robert Griffin III Defends Caleb Williams

In the latest chapter of the Caleb Williams saga, there was a picture of him that went viral. The picture contained him wearing pink nail polish. Along with this, Williams had a pink phone case and a pink wallet.
As a result, Williams received criticism from a select group of fans about his appearance. Despite having some haters, there were plenty of people defending him. One of those people was Robert Griffin III. Here is what Griffin posted on social media about this:
“Let Caleb Williams be Caleb Williams. Ain’t nothing wrong with him wearing pink fingernail polish and having a pink phone case. Quite frankly, if he goes to Chicago then Bears’ fans should be rocking whatever he is. Stop the hate and accept him for who he is.”

Other Caleb Williams Criticism

This is not the first time that fans have criticized something regarding Caleb Williams. Heck, this is not even the first time that fans have gone after Williams’ “manhood” since he took the national stage.
Last season, fans noticed Caleb Williams crying after a heartbreaking loss. As a result, some of these fans questioned whether Williams would have the mental toughness to last in the NFL. It caused a big debate and resulted in people taking strong stances on both sides of the line.
Fans React to Robert Griffin’s Comment

Of course, fans had a few thoughts about Griffin’s reaction to Caleb Williams. Here are some of the most notable comments about this:
“Nah, not accepting men wearing nail polish and lipstick. And don’t tell me I have too.”
“Oh yea stick to the script. Push the agenda. Get those millions. Sell your soul. This is gay af.”
“They forgot about Rodman.”
“People judge people for no reason. Stop the hate.”
“Accept for what he is…a selfish, sore loser who acts like a child on the field when his team gets beat. I don’t care how he dresses, I wouldn’t want my pro team drafting him. He’s not mature enough to be a franchise QB.”
