The NFL’s best quarterback rivalry between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady is now one of the big friendships with them both having retired. Brady reached out to his greatest rival this off season for advice in media expertise. Brady is getting ready to become the FOX top commentator for games and he wanted Peyton’s advice as Peyton has been doing that for a couple years now.
Peyton Manning Has Hilarious Advice For Tom Brady
In a recent interview with Andrew Marchand, Peyton Manning revealed that Brady had reached out for some advice and he gave a pretty hilarious response.
“He’s reached out to me for advice,” Manning told Marchand. “I said, ‘Tom, I watch football from my neighbor’s garage on Monday nights. I’m not sure I’m worthy of being called for advice for what you’re about to do.’”
Manning is kind of right that he does not have a formal broadcasting gig on the same way a few of the other former quarterbacks do like Tony Romo or Troy Aikman.
Tom Brady Is Getting Ready To Join Sunday Football Again
Brady will replace Greg Olsen as the newest NFL broadcaster for FOX. He is teaming up with Kevin Burkhardt and has already been working with him to create a repour ahead of the 2024 season. Brady was on the “The Pat McAfee Show” in January, where he revealed that he’s been creating chemistry with Burkhardt and putting in a lot of work ahead of this season.
“I’ve been out to Fox Studios a few times and done some really dry runs with Kevin, who’s tremendous at what he does,” Brady said, via the New York Post. “I’m super excited to join an amazing team.”
We will have to wait and see if Brady can be a great broadcaster, but he should have an incredible perspective that no other broadcaster has ever had.
