This years NFL free agency has been nothing short of insane. With many notable players going to division rivals like Saquon Barkley to the Philadelphia Eagles, fans are set for many big time revenge game sin the 2024 season. On Tuesday, Patrick Queen did the same thing and stayed in the division to sign with the rival Pittsburgh Steelers. Queen sent an incredible message and has apparently accepted the villain role after signing with such a rival.

The Pittsburgh Steelers almost never spend this type of money in free agency, so that should tell you all you need to know on how highly they grade Queen. They have gotten to see him twice every year so they know exactly what they are getting in the star linebacker.

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Brandon Stephens (21) celebrates in the end zone after teammate Baltimore Ravens linebacker Patrick Queen (6) recovered Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence’s (16) early fourth quarter fumble. The Jacksonville Jaguars hosted the Baltimore Ravens at EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida Sunday Night, December 17, 2023. The Jaguars trailed 10 to 0 at the half and lost 23 to 7.

Queen has spent the last four seasons going twice against the Steelers and now he will get to experience the other side of the huge rivalry. It is quite crazy that so many notable players are going to such intense division rivals. Queen has seemed to fully embrace the villain role with the Baltimore Ravens as he will not be welcomed back when he returns to Baltimore.
