Multiple NFL teams were impacted by Hurricane Milton with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers needing to evacuate for safety. Legendary quarterback Tom Brady is no longer playing in the NFL, but he showed that he still comes through in the clutch off the field with a massive donation to help in the efforts against the Hurricane.
Tom Brady Sends Donation To Help After Hurricane Milton
On Thursday morning, the former Tampa and New England Patriots quarterback made a statement regarding the Hurricane and its impact on Flordia and Tampa specifically. The legend pledged to give $100,000 in an effort to help the Florida residents deal with the ramifications of the hurricane.
“In the wake of Hurricane Milton, I’ll be making a donation of $100K to help get essentials like food, water and first aid to Floridians in need,” Brady wrote. “Keep those impacted by these storms in your prayers, look out for your neighbors, and continue to help out anyway you’re able. Stay safe, and stay strong Florida.”
Brady went on to add that his pals at Gopuff are matching his donation and will be giving $100,000 as well for the efforts to help. Brady loved his time with Tampa and he clearly threw close to the community in his short time there, and bringing a Super Bowl to the city. It is beautiful to see him and others helping out with the efforts.

There are some strange fans who feel that this donation is not big enough, but most of the NFL fans and community are praising Brady and his Gopuff friends for their donations. It is easy to judge a donation coming from a wealthy man, $200.000 is not chump change, and it will certainly help the residents of Florida who are dealing with the ramifications of this story.
“Thank you Tom for your generosity to those in need,” one person wrote.
Another person tweeted, “A former NFL Patriot but a current US Patriot. Here is a celebrity I can respect.”
“Tom coming in clutch once again,” a third fan commented.
“Thanks Tom! Always will be the GOAT,” a fourth social media user said.
