Katie Ledekcy has been dominant in the 2024 Olympics after winning a total of four medals, including two gold. Along the way, the Olympian thanked former NFL quarterback Andrew Luck after their meeting in Paris during the sporting event.
The former Indianapolis Colts quarterback has remained deeply involved in the athletic community long after his retirement from the NFL. Married to a former Stanford gymnast, Luck has become a passionate supporter of USA Gymnastics and their journey at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Luck, who played at Stanford from 2008-2011, has been a vital part of the gymnasts’ preparation for the games. He and his wife have provided housing, groceries, and other amenities to five USA gymnasts, ensuring they had everything they needed to focus on their training. His support didn’t stop there – when bronze medalist Asher Hong qualified for the Olympic team, Luck and his wife arranged to have Hong’s house in Minnesota decorated to commemorate his achievement.
The former QB’s commitment to supporting the next generation of athletes is a testament to his character. As a former player who experienced the pressure of big games and high-stakes moments, he understands the importance of having a strong support system. By providing resources and celebrating the success of these gymnasts, the NFL star is making a meaningful impact on their journeys and inspiring them to reach new heights.

A few days ago, Ledecky won her 14th Olympic medal, cementing her place as the most decorated American woman in Olympic history. Her gold medal in the 800-meter freestyle marked her ninth Olympic gold and demonstrated her continued dominance in distance swimming.
Even though he has been out of the league for quite some time, Luck’s work has definitely helped American athletes perform well in the Olympics. And after meeting up with Ledecky in Paris, there’s definitely more in store for the former Colts star down the road.
