While he may not be playing in the NFL anymore, at least for now, Tom Brady has very much stayed in the public eye. He has been very vocal with his thoughts on the league and there is some speculation that he could still make a return to the field at some point in the future.
No one truly knows whether or not Brady is retired for good, but he seems to be getting some competitiveness back towards the media. Former players and media members have been very critical of Brady at times and he has always proved them wrong. Now, he’s trying to prove them wrong with his words instead of his play.
Recently, Brady has been called “soft” by quite a few around the league. A lot of the criticism came after he called out the current state of the NFL for being soft.
Tom Brady Responds To Haters Who Are Calling Him ‘Soft’
In a recent quote on the Let’s Go Podcast, Brady took shots at those who are calling him “soft.” He did his best to verbally fight back against the label that is being placed on him by his critics.
“Everyone thinks I was a p—sy out there. I took every single [hit] and got my ass up. I never wanted a defensive player saying ‘I knocked the shit out of him and he didn’t get up’ so I made sure I got up.”

At the end of the day, Tom Brady should not feel the need to defend himself against anyone. He has had arguably the best career of any player in the history of the NFL.
Throughout the course of his 23-year NFL career, Brady completed 64.3 percent of his pass attempts for 89,214 yards, 649 touchdowns, and just 212 interceptions. On the ground, he racked up 1,123 yards and 28 touchdowns. Those numbers are going to be record holders for quite some time.
Most importantly, Tom Brady is the winningest quarterback of all-time. He won seven Super Bowls throughout the course of his career. Nothing can be taken away from those championships either.
Only time will tell if we ever get to see Tom Brady on an NFL field again. Some are still holding out hope. If we don’t, there is absolutely nothing that can take away what he has accomplished and he should let the critics say whatever they want without dignifying them with a response.
