REPORT: Kansas City Chiefs’ Elite Travis Kelce Pregame Speech Made Teammates Cry

The Kansas City Chiefs are trying to do something that hasn’t been done in decades. They are looking to be back to back champions which only very few teams have ever done. Legendary tight end Travis Kelce knows this and apparently he gave a pregame speech to the team that left his fellow teammates in tears. We would all love to be a fly on the wall during that pregame speech.

The Chiefs reportedly had a few big time speeches before the game with many of their leaders giving heart felt messages to the team. According to Albert Breer, Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Chris Jones, and Andy Reid all addressed the team at their hotel on Saturday night. But it was reported that Kelce’s speech was the most powerful of the group and that he literally had players in tears from his message.

It is hard to believe that even after two Super Bowls and accomplishing just about everything you could in the NFL, that Travis would be so hyped up for this game specifically. He knows that going back to back is something special.

“I want this one more than I’ve ever wanted a Super Bowl in my life,” Kelce told media earlier this week. “And it’s because of the type of team we have, the people that we have in this thing. But also because that tier of teams that have done it twice have gone down in history as some of the greats.”

Will Travis Kelce Propose After The Game

While Kelce made his teammates shed a few tears before the game, he may be making many Americans shed some tears after the game if he indeed proposes to super star Taylor Swift following the game. It has been reported that Kelce may propose to the star following the Super Bowl, but that would only be realistic if they indeed win the game.

It has also been reported that Kelce may be retiring after the season, and that may be another driving force in the power of his speech to his team before the Super Bowl. Kelce may go down as the best at his position ever and if this is his last game, we have had the honor to watch one of the best to ever do it.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid had Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Chris Jones address the team last night at the hotel. All were great. Kelce particularly so— "Unbelievable" and "powerful", according to people in the room, to the point where some teammates were moved to tears.
