    The NFL has numerous players with ties around the sports world.  From the Olympics, to the WNBA, to professional women’s soccer, and everything in between, the NFL has a multitude of players who focus on other sports during the off-season.

    That is no different when college basketball lost a major player to a gruesome injury.

    USC’s JuJu Watkins, who can be labeled as “this year’s Caitlin Clark” suffered a gruesome injury against Mississippi State:

    During USC’s second round game against Mississippi State, Watkins suffered a non-contact injury and was carried off. Her knee seemed to be in serious pain as she clutched it.

    Injuries to her hand and ankle sustained on Saturday didn’t prevent Watkins from playing in Monday night’s tournament game against the Bulldogs.

    USC sophomore Watkins is in the middle of her sophomore season.
