The Philadelphia Eagles appear to be omitting something significant on their injury report ahead of Super Bowl LIX. The Eagles are to take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
Multiple reports surfaced on Wednesday and Thursday that the Eagles have a rash of illness spreading through their locker room this week after defensive tackle Jalen Carter missed his media availability. The count was around 4-5 players on Thursday.
The Philadelphia Eagles list one player as having an illness

However, the Eagles only placed Carter on the injury report on Wednesday and Thursday for having an illness. On Friday, the Chiefs and Eagles revealed their final injury report before the Super Bowl. Carter was the only player on the Eagles’ roster that was listed as having an illness.

The Chiefs did have an illness pop up on their injury report. Kansas City punter Matt Araiza was dealing with an illness this week. Like Carter, Araiza is expected to play on Sunday in the Super Bowl.
NFL fans ask what happened to the other sick players

NFL fans are curious why more names haven’t popped up the Eagles injury report for having an illness. Fans think Philadelphia could be cheating sports bettors with the injury report.
“They are faking being sick to avoid doing this stupid super bowl media tour so you guys can shut up now,” wrote a fan.
“I thought everyone was apparently sick. What happened,” asked one poster.
“This game is so overanalyzed you would think the bubonic plague was moving through the Eagles defense,” wrote a fan.
“No flu status All my homies hate DOV,” posted another.
