The New York Jets were hoping that they didn’t need to see a lot of Zach Wilson this year. However, after Aaron Rodgers went down with his Achilles injury, Wilson was once again thrust into the starting role. After not living up to expectations again, the team is reportedly looking to trade him this offseason. According to reports, the Minnesota Vikings might be a team to watch.

New York Jets Zach Wilson To The Minnesota Vikings?
The Jets need to find a better backup quarterback option. The Vikings did not extend Kirk Cousins though they could bring him back in free agency. In league circles, people are thinking that the Vikings could take a swing on the former second-overall pick. It probably would not take much in order to get Wilson as his value is not very high so the team could likely get a possible starter cheap.
Change Of Scenery
Sometimes, a change of scenery is what a player needs. It hasn’t worked for Wilson in New York but he has been attached to Robert Saleh, who is a defensive-minded head coach, and a rotating cast of offensive coordinators. The move to Minnesota would pair Wilson with Kevin O’Connell. Along with Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, Wilson would have plenty of weapons. I’m not sure if the Vikings would be interested but it is worth a look.
What will happen with Wilson this offseason? It will be one of the many offseason storylines to watch.
