The deal is for one year and, with incentives, could be worth up to $20 million, according to ESPN.
New York Jets New Left Tackle
The Dallas Cowboys drafted Smith as the ninth overall pick in 2011. For the past decade, he has been a tremendous staple for one of the best offensive lines in football.
Tyron Smith has played in 161 career games. He has been the starter in every game he has appeared in. This past season, he graded out on Pro Football Focus with an 83.8. He is an outstanding pass blocker, but as he gets older, his run blocking has slightly dipped below from when he entered the league.
The 33-year-old Smith is a two-time first-team All-Pro, an eight-time Pro Bowler, and a member of the NFL’s 2010s All-Decade team. In recent memory, he’s one of the best offensive linemen to play in the NFL.
