The New York Jets season took a turn when Aaron Rodgers went down on the fourth play of the season with an Achilles injury. Breece Hall thinks that things could be looking up. After Rodgers, posted a cryptic Instagram post about his potential return, Hall appeared on the Rich Eisen Show and expressed confidence that Rodgers will be under center this season.
Rich Eisen asked @BreeceH if he thinks Aaron Rodgers is coming back to play for the #Jets THIS season.

New York Jets Breece Hall On Aaron Rodgers
Eisen asked Hall about a potential return and unlike Rodgers, Hall made it very clear on what he thinks. “I don’t think there is any doubt,” Hall said when asked about the quarterback returning. He then elaborated on his answer.
Obviously, we would love to have him back, but at the end of the day, that is up to him and his rehab process. We hope for the best that we will get him back, but he still has to go through it, just like I did…I’m excited to have him back, but it’s all on him.”
The Rodgers recovery has been amazing so far. The fact that he is on the field during pregame slinging the pigskin around is a testament to his work ethic and determination to get back on the field. However, the question has to be asked, is this a good idea?
Too Soon?
Let me be very clear. I am not a doctor. However, it seems strange that Rodgers, a 40-year-old quarterback, would be able to return from an Achilles injury this soon. There has to be a significant risk for this. It is one thing to casually throw footballs on the sidelines. It is another to play under the stress of an NFL game. Still, I don’t think there is anyone, except maybe AFC defenses, who is not cheering for a successful return. It would be one of the great comeback stories in all of sports.
Will we see Rodgers this season? A lot of people in the Jets organization seem to think so.
