The New York Giants own the sixth pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. As of now, they plan on keeping the pick but you never know. The Giants could trade up with that pick, move back, or do something entirely different.

New York needs a quarterback and they have been scouting quarterbacks in this draft class. They plan on riding with Daniel Jones, Drew Lock, or someone else next season. The question is who is that someone else? Is it a rookie quarterback or is it a veteran quarterback around the league?

With the Buffalo Bills trading away wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans, many people are wondering whether or not the Super Bowl window has closed in Buffalo, New York. Doug Rush, a New York Giants Fansided writer suggests that they should try and call the Buffalo Bills and trade the sixth overall pick for Josh Allen.
Joe Schoen is the general manager of the New York Giants and he was once the assistant general manager of the Buffalo Bills under Brandon Beane. Allen is one of the most talented quarterbacks in the NFL and had his best years under Brian Daboll. Daboll was the offensive coordinator for the Bills when Allen played great and Brian Daboll is the head coach of the New York Giants.
There is no doubt that Daboll would love to reunite with Allen, however, the Buffalo Bills would probably not want to trade him away. Josh Allen last season completed 66.5% of his passes for 4,306 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 18 interceptions. He also rushed for 524 yards on 111 carries and 15 touchdowns, along with averaging 4.7 yards per carry.

Allen has been in the MVP conversation for the Buffalo Bills. A positive for him is that if he was traded out of the AFC, he would not have to worry about going through Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Josh Allen on the New York Giants would be great for both parties and he would be the best quarterback in the AFC off the bat. However, what quarterback would the Buffalo Bills take sixth overall?! That is something they may have to answer if this was pulled off.
