The New York Giants will be facing Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys twice this season. Prescott has always owned the Giants over the years and he is entering the final year of his contract with Dallas.
It has been interesting that the star quarterback of the Cowboys has yet to sign a contract extension. Does this mean that Dak Prescott is going to leave the Dallas Cowboys this offseason and sign elsewhere?
It remains to be seen if Prescott will stay with the Cowboys for the long haul. CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons have yet to sign contract extensions this offseason. They have been in the news for all of the wrong reasons this offseason.
Fox Sports 1 Reporter Nick Wright Thinks That Dak Prescott and Bill Belichick Are a Package To Be With the New York Giants in 2025
Fox Sports 1 Reporter Nick Wright is no stranger to making ridiculous takes on his sports shows and other shows as well. He went onto FS1’s The Herd with Colin Cowherd on Tuesday afternoon. Wright said:
“I’ve been saying it and I’ll keep saying it.”
This is about Dak Prescott and Bill Belichick being a package deal to be with the New York Giants in 2025. It may not be a surprise to see Prescott replace Daniel Jones as the Giants quarterback in 2025. There is no chance that the Giants are going to fire head coach Brian Daboll and replace him with Bill Belichick.
Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen are not going anywhere. They are still rebuilding this football team. Maybe Prescott is the final piece for the Giants to be a Super Bowl contender soon. Last season with the Dallas Cowboys, he threw for 4,516 yards and 36 touchdowns. Dak Prescott led the NFL in touchdown passes.
No NFL team wants to hire Bill Belichick. It appears as if the game has passed by him. He was in line to be the Atlanta Falcons head coach, but Atlanta wanted to go in a different direction instead. The last thing the New York Giants need is an outdated dinosaur as head coach.
Brian Daboll would be the perfect coach for quarterback Dak Prescott. Malik Nabers would be his new CeeDee Lamb target. He also would have Wan’Dale Robinson and Jalin Hyatt to throw too. The New York Giants 2nd and 3rd receiving options might be better than the Dallas Cowboys’ other options right now.
If Prescott were to leave for a divisional rival this offseason, it would mean that he would want revenge on the Cowboys and it would also mean that the Dallas Cowboys are rebuilding. It would be great news for the New York Giants.
