The New York Giants fanbase has not been kind to Saquon Barkley ever since he left in NFL free agency for the Philadelphia Eagles. On Wednesday on Twitter, there was a video that was put on Twitter about Saquon Barkley and it was this:
First thing Saquon Barkley’s daughter said when he told her he was going to the Eagles:
“Does that mean we’re going to win now?”

What’s interesting is that the Eagles have been to the playoffs more often than the Giants over the past five years, but over the last two years, New York has been there at least once. Philadelphia has been to the Super Bowl also in that stretch, but they lost against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Also, the New York Giants did beat the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 17 of the 2023-2024 season and Philadelphia did spiral down the stretch. The Dallas Cowboys did win the NFC East last year. There has not been a back-to-back winner in the division since the early 2000s.
New York Giants Fans React To the Saquon Barkley Video
Any opportunity something is posted about Barkley on Twitter or any other social media platform, the Giants fanbase is going to respond to it. This is what some of the fans said about the video that he posted:
Yes the eagles have such a long history of winning with their, let me check, 1 trophy.

I guess she didn’t watch Philly in the 2nd half of 2023

He acts like he wasn’t a huge piece on the team. He could’ve controlled the outcome. Maybe don’t miss 4 games a year to ankle injuries? Maybe decide to pass block? How about run between the tackles instead of dancing. Dudes softer than I thought.

There are a lot of Giants fans that didn’t like the way he left the team. If he had gone to any other NFL franchise, it would not have been a big deal to them.
Going from the New York Giants to the Philadelphia Eagles is what crossed the line for this fanbase. They are looking for the day when Barkley comes back to MetLife Stadium and they boo him out of the stadium.
