After this afternoon’s horrendous shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade, during which one person has been killed and another 21 injured, ranging from immediately life-threatening to minor, many organizations have made statements on the tragic events that have occurred.
Subsequently, the public has started to weigh in on the situation with a variety of opinions.
Specifically, public figures and politicians.
Nancy Pelosi Weighs In On Super Bowl Parade Tragedy
One politician who many regard as “controversial” in former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, has weighed in on Twitter (X) with her thoughts on the day’s incredibly saddening incident.
Once again, our nation learns the heartbreaking news of gun violence in America.
The horrific mass shooting at the Kansas City victory celebration, which killed one and wounded at least twenty, is another outrageous example of a community shattered by gun violence.

Pelosi Takes A Stand On Gun Violence
Pelosi, a long time proponent of gun control, utilized this moment to make a larger point on the state of the nation in regards to its marred history of gun violence, particularly as this was somehow the 48th mass shooting of the year, not even 7 weeks into 2024.
Especially at what was meant to be during time of unbelievable happiness and gratitude (not to mention the day of love, Valentine’s Day), as perhaps the next NFL dynasty rolls through our door.
Wishing well and praying for everyone, and everyone’s families who have been hurt and affected during this time.
