The “Parade of Love”, quickly became something as far from that as humanly possible, after the horrific shooting that took place during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade; which had been their 3rd in the past 5 years.
Shooting Breaks Out At Super Bowl Parade
After the end of the main parade, shooting broke out outside of Union Station; Kansas City Police Chief, Stacey Graves, reported that 22 people were victims of gunshot wounds, and that 1 person has been killed.
Of the victims affected by the gunfire, 8 of them had immediately life-threatening injuries, 7 had life-threatening injuries, and 6 were minor.

Now, the Kansas City Chiefs have released a statement on the horrendous acts of violence that occurred after what was supposed to be an over-joyous occasion for the Super Bowl Champions and their dedicated fan base.

Kansas City Chiefs’ Parade Turns Sour In The Worst Possible Way
The Chiefs’ official communication confirms that the players, staff and extended families have all been accounted for, which is obviously excellent to hear.
However, for the 22 people who were not so lucky, and the dozens, if not hundreds of people who had to witness such horrific acts, this is an unbelievably awful day.
