The Missouri Tigers continue to have huge wins in the transfer portal. They have gotten players on both sides of the ball to help beef up their squad for 2024. A day after landing the no. seven overall linebacker in the portal, former Miami Hurricane Corey Flagg Jr. announced his commitment to the program.

Missouri Tigers Land LB Corey Flagg Jr.
Flagg Jr. is a former three-star prospect who had a great season for the Hurricanes. He is a tackling machine and during his time with Miami, he has amassed 179 total tackles. One of the reasons for the transfer may have been playing time. He didn’t start in 2023 because of the glut of talent that the Hurricanes had at the position. Now, he will likely get way more playing time with the Tigers.
2024 Transfer Class
According to 247, the Tigers currently have the 17th-ranked transfer portal class. While this may seem a little low, they have gone for quality over quantity. Offensive tackle Cayden Green is a great pickup for the offensive line. Darris Smith was a top-ten linebacker in the portal and they also picked up a couple of offensive weapons to help replace talent. This team cannot be overlooked going into 2024.
The Missouri Tigers are looking good this offseason. They may surprise some people in 2024 and possibly be in the mix for the SEC title.
