Joshua Dobbs brought light to Minnesota after Kirk Cousins’ season ending injury left fans feeling hopeless. He brought the Viking’s team to two big wins in a row to start his run with the team. But this light might have been dimmed on Monday night.
Minnesota Vikings’ Loss to the Bears
Dobbs threw four interceptions in Monday night’s 12-10 loss to the Chicago Bears, leaving head coach Kevin O’Connell questioning the quarterbacks future role with the team.

Dobbs completed 22 of 32 passes, posting 185 yards. He threw a 17-yard touchdown to T.J. Hockenson in the fourth quarter but it was just not enough to secure the win.
Joshua Dobbs’ Breakout in Minnesota
Dobbs was acquired via trade from the Arizona Cardinals just a few weeks ago and he showed up for the franchise. He completed 20 of 30 passes for 158 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions against the Atlanta Falcons carrying the team to a 31-28 victory in his first game as a Viking. He followed up by completing 23 of 34 passes for 268 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions in the Vikings’ 27-18 win against the New Orleans Saints.
The Vikings head into their bye week 6-6, and for Joshua Dobbs’ role with the team, only time will tell.
