Despite rumblings dating back to the past two seasons when he interviewed with the Minnesota Vikings, the Michigan Wolverines were obviously sad when their now National Championship winning head coach decided to sign with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Now, it seems that Michigan has wasted no doubt in finding their replacement for the former Super Bowl attendee, per Nicole Auerbach:

Sherrone Moore Next Man Up For The Wolverines
Sherrone Moore, the current offensive coordinator, was always a popular and common-sense candidate to replace the departed Jim Harbaugh.
Moore has had a lot of success in helping Harbaugh get the most out of strong-armed but occasionally erratic quarterback, JJ McCarthy.
His deal is for $5.5 million and for 5 years. Let’s see if he can keep the lofty standards of the Wolverines afloat next season!
