Early Tuesday morning Lynn Bowden Jr took to social media and showed love to the Miami Dolphins and its fans. Bowden was released by the Dolphins prior to the 4 p.m. deadline. As a member as the Dolphins, he recorded 28 receptions for 211 yards in 2020. He missed the entire 2021 season with an injury but was poised for a comeback season as he had an impressive preseason.
The Dolphins have also announced that they will be waiving wide receivers Mohamad Sanu, Preston Williams, and River Cracraft. Williams had been with the team the longest but was not able to stay healthy. Since joining the team in 2019 he recorded 56 receptions for 787 and seven touchdowns. Cracraft was added in the offseason but has had time in a Mike Mcdaniel offense.
The Dolphins look to start the season with a receiving core of Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Cedrick Wilson Jr, Trent Sherfield, and Erik Ezukanma.
