The Detroit Lions have had a pretty impressive NFL season so far, with the team winning 12 games and losing only one. The Lions are strongly in the NFC North table with the Minnesota Vikings following closely in second place. While the Lions seem to have it all, they are still showing vulnerabilities, as pointed out by ex-Lions wide receiver, Calvin Johnson.
Johnson, dubbed ‘Megatron’ is one of Detroit’s legendary players, and has already made history as one of the greatest wide receivers of all time. Recently, Johnson appeared on ‘Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams’ and discussed one of Detroit’s weaknesses as a team.
“I mean really ourselves turning the ball over, that’s what’s going to stop us. any kind of turnovers. I mean we shoot ourselves in the foot. That’s the only thing that stops this team.” Johnson said on Kay Adams’ show.

Apart from the turnovers, ‘Megatron’, injuries can also hinder the Detroit Lions from moving forward in the season, especially on the defensive end. The well-versed player also went on to say that the only way to ensure that more injuries don’t plague the Lions was to regularly rotate the workload among the players.
In their last game, the Detroit Lions took on the Green Bay Packers and won the game with a final score of 34-31, after QB Jared Goff went for 283 yards, completing 32 passes out of 41 attempts. Goff managed to score a trio of TDs in that game, while managing a solo interception. David Montgomery led the team’s rushing with 14 carries for 51 yards, scoring once, while Jameson Williams defended with five receptions for 80 yards.
Detroit Lions Make It To Playoffs After Packers Game
The Detroit Lions are finally in the playoffs after destroying the Green Bay Packers in their previous matchup, 34-31. While the players were definitely the stars on the field, the team had to definitely appreciate Dan Campbell and his sharp mind for the win. Campbell made a snazzy decision in the fourth-down, making way for Jared Goff to handoff to David Montgomery, eventually leading to the win.
Campbell also enthusiastically gave one of his passionate locker-room speeches after the game. The coach also went on to joke about Dan Skipper who was hunched over a trash can. The coach went on to call on the team to face pressure head on, remarking that it is pressure that the unit thrives on.
