The LSU Tigers have been on a hot streak on the recruiting trail. They have already secured commitments from some of the top recruits in the 2025 class, and on Sunday, they added another. The top IOL recruit in the 2025 class, Tyler Miller, announced he is coming to Baton Rogue.

Miller is a massive specimen. At 6-foot-6, 318 pounds, he is a menacing presence to be around. He chose the Tigers over Ole Miss and Mississippi State. In a statement, he details why he chose LSU.
“Really when I went up to LSU…the minute I went through the door Brad Davis, Dr. Arnold and others, they all felt like I was at home talking to people I knew from years. I feel myself graduating and becoming a better man there with coach Kelly.”
“I feel like I’m the closest to coach Brad. That’s a person I give a lot of respect to and his hustle and his grind is amazing. My relationship with the coaching staff is family and their plan for me is having a good chance of making an impact as soon as I step on campus, but I have to work everyday and nothing is going to be given to me.”
As with many recruits, relationships with the coaching staff are a major factor. Players like to feel the coaches are invested in them.
An Already Stacked Class

LSU already has a stacked class. They landed the number one overall recruit in the class, quarterback Bryce Underwood. This is in addition to the number one overall running back in the class, Harlem Berry. This is just the beginning. There is still a lot of time in the 2025 cycle, and these things often snowball. Players want to go where other good players are. The LSU Tigers now have one of the best recruiting pitches in the nation.
Can head coach Brian Kelly turn all of this talent into a perennial contender? It is one thing to get the talent but another to win games.
