The LSU Tigers ended the season on a high note by beating the Wisconsin Badgers in their bowl game. After all of the bowl games this weekend, we have seen another wave of players entering the transfer portal. LSU has been hit hard the past couple of days. Wide receiver Jalen Brown announced he is entering the transfer portal.

LSU Tigers Lose WR Jalen Brown
Brown was a top-100 recruit in the 2023 class. He only appeared in three games this season and did not record a stat. Like so many highly touted freshmen recruits who did not see the field much in 2023, Brown decided to try and find a program where he could be featured more. This new era of college football means there are more opportunities for players to find the program, and NIL money, that is right for them. It is something that teams are going to have to adapt to if they are going to survive.
Teams To Watch
Florida State is a team to watch for Brown. He is from Florida and was heavily recruited by Seminoles head coach Mike Norvell. He and wide receivers coach Ron Dugans have proven that they can develop talent at the wide receiver position. Norvell is definitely going to want to try and replenish the talent that is leaving and show the college football world that last year was no fluke for the Seminoles. Any team can use a talented wide receiver so I wouldn’t count out any program that is looking to build depth.
Can the LSU Tigers rebound next season? While this season was full of a lot of excitement, the program wants to be back on top of the SEC in 2024.
