July has been a successful month for the Tigers on the recruiting trail, as LSU picks up their third commitment for the class of 2024. LSU currently has two other commits for the class of 2024 in Maurice Williams and Xavier Atkins. Joseph Stone, of Loganville, Georgia, announced his commitment on Monday evening. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Stone chose LSU over Georgia, Clemson, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and many others.

Stone is about as versatile of an athlete that Brian Kelly and his coaching staff could ask for. Reeling in 37 offers according to Rivals, Stone has been a hot name on the market with LSU coming in and taking the Georgia native. Stone will join his teammate and four-star safety, Michael Doughtery, in Baton Rouge.
What Could Be Next for the Tigers?
Four-star LSU running back target Kaleb Jackson will be announcing his college commitment on Tuesday. The Liberty Magnet product will be making his decision to the public at 10:30 a.m. According to 247sports, Jackson is currently the favorite to land the Baton Rouge native. LSU will look to keep Jackson close to come and continue to build their 2023 recruiting class.
