LSU fans are hopeful they can replace quarterback Jayden Daniels next season with Texas quarterback Arch Manning after a report dropped on Quinn Ewers’ likely future at Texas. Daniels, a senior, is set to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft.

Ewers, who was thought to be a possible quarterback in the 2024 draft class, might decide to stay at Texas for one more year rather than enter a loaded quarterback class. Bobby Burton, with On3, reported there is a 90 percent chance Ewers remains next season.
If that happens, Manning would have a big decision to make after redshirting his first year at Texas for the 2023 season. Manning would be one of the most sought-after transfers this winter should he decide he doesn’t want to be Ewers’ backup in 2024.
After all, Manning was third on the depth chart this season behind Ewers and Maalik Murphy. Murphy was head coach Steve Sarkisian’s choice to start when Ewers was hurt.
LSU fans beg for Manning
Tigers fans were vocal on X to ask for Manning to transfer to their program. But would Manning want to play for a head coach, Brian Kelly, who has an awful track record with quarterbacks?
Here are the best takes of Tigers fans wanting Manning to transfer from Texas.
