The Los Angeles Rams’ offensive line battled injuries throughout the 2024 season as four of their ideal five starters missed time. Due to injuries, Matthew Stafford was under constant duress as the offensive line gave up the fifth-most quarterback hits and finished in the middle of the pack in pressures and pressure percentage while ranking 14th in PFF’s final offensive line rankings. On top of that, Stafford was sacked seven times during the postseason.
The Los Angeles Rams veteran battled two injuries

Rob Havenstein battled two separate injuries in 2024, limiting the star right tackle to 11 games, the fewest since 2019. Havenstein missed four games (Weeks 1, 10-12) with an ankle injury and two (Weeks 17-18) with a shoulder injury. When he played, he performed well, giving up 23 pressures, 15 hurries, five quarterback hits, and three sacks, posting an impressive 75.8 overall PFF grade in the regular season and playoffs.

He recently underwent a procedure

During Monday’s press conference, Rob Havenstein told the media that he underwent a cleanup procedure on both shoulders, but it didn’t constitute a full repair. Havenstein went on to say that he will be limited and take it easy during voluntarily organized team activities (OTAs). If anything, he hopes to feel better by the end of OTAs.
“Yeah, I had two shoulder clean outs,” Havenstein said at OTAs via Tyler Greenawalt of Rams Wire. “There was some junk in there that didn’t need to be in there so they went in, grabbed the old butter knife and took it out. Nothing got fixed or repaired. It’s not anything crazy like that. I just had some wear and tear. They shaved it all down and gave me a couple of new shoulders. I feel pretty good and will probably take it pretty easy during OTAs.”
What is his worst-case scenario?

If Rob Havenstein isn’t feeling better toward the end of OTAs or mandatory minicamp, he hopes to be ready for the start of training camp. He also isn’t concerned about beginning training camp or the start of the 2025 season on the reserve/physically unable to perform (PUP) list.
“I’m still working on getting a lot of strength back before we go do anything. My goal and my hope is to finish on the field, maybe not in a team setting but to just be out there with the boys and running some football. Towards the end of OTAs, it’ll be good. If not, we’ll be rocking and rolling for training camp.”
