Los Angeles Chargers head coach Brandon Staley has been under heavy fire from fans and analysts for the entire season. Many believe he has proven in many ways that he cannot be a head coach in the NFL, which has caused his job with the Chargers to be in major jeopardy. After the 63-21 blowout loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, many think it is inevitable that Staley will be fired very soon. However, a superstar on the team thinks that everyone still believes in Staley and that he should continue being the coach for the team despite all of the criticism.

Los Angeles Chargers Defend Their Head Coach
Reporters asked Star pass rusher Khalil Mack following the blowout loss if he still believes in his head coach, and his answer shocked the entire NFL world.
You talk about believing in a coach? Of course, we believe in him and he believes in us. There can’t be a disconnect when you love this sh*t the way that I do. We’ve go to move on.
Several Chargers players have defended Staley in the past when asked if they still believed in him, however, the team looked like they lost all belief today, and many fans and analysts think that this is finally the end of the road for the three-year head coach. Many fans took to Twitter saying that Mack is lying and nobody believes in Staley as a head coach anymore.
Reporters should stop asking players these questions which basically force them to defend coaches and create a false sense of lockeroom support

He is lying. Nobody believes in this horrible coach.

Even former Super Bowl champion Reggie Bush thinks Staley’s stint as the Chargers head coach should have ended before the game even ended.

Why Brandon Staley Should Be Fired
It is clear that the Chargers should fire Staley as soon as possible, but the players for some reason keep defending him like he is doing a good job. Los Angeles has had one of the worst defenses in the league since the “defensive genius” came over to the team, and they have continued to show that they cannot win when it matters. The team has blown several big leads in key games, including the loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the wild card a season ago when they held a 27-0 lead.
The Chargers playoff hopes have pretty much dissipated after suffering this loss, making them 5-9 on the season. Quarterback Justin Herbert is out for the year with a broken finger on his throwing hand, and many believe the team will not win any more games this season. After this atrocious performance, Staley will likely be removed from the team in the next couple of days, which could be the start of new beginnings and success in Los Angeles.
