The Buffalo Bills added much-needed depth on the defensive side of the ball Thursday. The Bills have lost several key players on defense, including star cornerback Tre’Davious White, for the rest of the season.
The Bills defensive line has seen a few injuries in October as well. Ed Oliver dealt with a toe injury that left him out against the New York Giants. The Bills believe DaQuon Jones will be out for the season due to a pectoral injury, and he was placed on injured reserve Oct. 11.

The Bills added a veteran defensive tackle Thursday morning. According to Mike Garafolo with the NFL Network, the Bills signed Linval Joseph to a one-year contract that could be worth up to $3.72 million.

Joseph is a two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle. He won Super Bowl XLVI as a member of the New York Giants (The Giants drafted Joseph in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft). Joseph played for the Philadelphia Eagles last season.
Joseph has 664 tackles, eight forced fumbles, and 25.5 career sacks in the NFL. He will give the Bills playoff experience for Buffalo’s run this winter.
