Lebron James and the Los Angeles Lakers were facing the Golden State Warriors on Christmas Day on Wednesday. The NBA had five games on the schedule and the NFL had two games on Netflix. For the NBA, they had games at NOON, 2:30, 5, 8, and 10:30 p.m. ET. As for the NFL, they had the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans and also the Kansas City Chiefs face the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The best game on the day might have been the Lakers and the Warriors with Los Angeles winning 115-113 with one second remaining in regulation on a shot made by Austin Reaves. It was interesting that the National Football League had games on a Wednesday.
Lebron James Makes Statement About the NFL Playing On Christmas Day
After the Lakers win against the Warriors on Wednesday night, James spoke after the game. He said what a lot of other NBA fans were thinking in the moment. He said:
“I love the NFL, but Christmas is our day.”
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar is not wrong by any means. The NFL will always have more ratings than the NBA, but having games on a Wednesday for football feels super weird. Most NBA games were tremendous on Wednesday and both football games were total duds.

Lebron lets the NFL know that NBA is still better than football games and you know I probably have to agree with that with games NFL put on display today where just bad

The NFL games sucked but the ratings will tell the story. They always do

The NBA ratings have not been very good as of late. However, the one thing that was delivered on Christmas Day was the James and Steph Curry rivalry.
