This victory marked Colorado’s fourth consecutive win, improving their record to 8-2 overall and 6-1 in the conference.
Sanders connected twice with Will Sheppard for touchdowns, showcasing a strong offensive strategy as the Buffaloes pulled away in the second half. LaJohntay Wester also made a significant impact, returning a punt 76 yards for a touchdown, further extending Colorado’s lead.
